¡Bienvenidos! Get ready for an unforgettable summer adventure at Colibri, a Spanish Immersion Camp hosted at the Hun School of Princeton.
Over five transformative weeks, students will dive into the vibrant world of Spanish language and culture. From creating and savoring authentic cuisine to moving to the rhythms of Latin music to exploring rich cultural traditions that span continents. A passport to a whole new world!
Whether your child is speaking their first Spanish words or polishing advanced conversation skills, our dynamic program meets them where they are and takes them further than they imagined. From the aromatic kitchens to the colorful dance floors, from mock marketplaces to collaborative art projects, every moment is designed to spark joy, build confidence, and create connections that transcend borders.
Get ready for a summer that transforms language learning into an unforgettable celebration of culture, creativity, and community. ¡Nos vemos pronto!
Meet the Teacher
Colibri is not taught by a Hun teacher, but by an outside expert:
Rodica Asay has been an educator for over 12 years in various multicultural and diverse settings throughout Europe, Central America, and public schools in California and New Jersey. With a strong background in teaching foreign languages, Mrs. Asay creatively adapts her teaching approaches based on children’s interests and their specific needs. In her free time, Mrs. Asay enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her two young children, husband, and friends.
