- Start and complete the online application
- Discuss the Summer Session course with your child’s guidance counselor or current subject area teacher
- If your school requires it, submit your course permission request prior to your school’s deadline(s)

Additional Enrollment Requirements
Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation that the application was received and is being reviewed. Communication from our Summer Programs Office will follow. Acceptance into a for-credit class is based on the applicants and qualifications and whether or not they have submitted all of the necessary paperwork. If you have any questions, please contact us at summer@hunschool.org.
Once admitted, students are required to upload a current health and immunization record.
Please note: Any student applying for an honors course will be given a placement exam on the first day of class. If a student does not have a teacher recommendation, a report card or transcript showing a grade of 93% or higher in a relevant subject area, and does not pass the placement exam, he or she will be placed in the standard credit course.
Summer Session International Student Application Process
All international students will be tested on their English comprehension and speaking ability upon arrival. If a student does not demonstrate the necessary language skill, he or she will be placed in an appropriate American Culture and Language Institute (ACLI) track.
International students are expected to arrange for their own housing. Please email the Summer Programs staff for recommendations at summer@hunschool.org.
