Our commitment to The Hun School community is that our Athletic Program will provide a safe environment for our students to develop positive habits and attitudes about social and group living through athletic participation. We embrace athletics as a demonstration of our larger community standards and for the educational value inherent in sports for each student.
The School community is composed of many individuals with varying interests and needs. Whether you are a Middle School student trying a sport for the first time, a sports fan, or a prospective collegiate student-athlete, there is a place for you (and your family) in our Athletic Program.
Competition and winning are important aspects of any program, but do not control the scope of our athletic philosophy. The measurement of success will not be judged by the tangible evidence of victory or defeat, but in the intangible personal development and shared memories that make the effort and experience worthwhile.
The Hun School of Princeton’s athletic teams are regulated by the New Jersey Independent State Athletic Association (NJISAA) and affiliate members of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA). The Hun School is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Prep League (MAPL) with five other schools: Lawrenceville, Peddie, Blair, Hill, and Mercersburg. We also compete in the NJISAA Prep “A” Division.
