Athletic Hall of Fame Qualifications

  1. A nominee must be an alumnus or alumna of The Hun School.  Coaches, other School community members, and athletes with extraordinary cases may also be considered for the Hall of Fame.
  2. Eligibility for admission begins the tenth year after the nominee graduates from The Hun School, reaches retirement after coaching, or has been actively involved in the Athletic Program for at least twenty-five years.
  3. The nominee must have exhibited the highest caliber of athletic accomplishments during his or her time at The 
    Hun School.
  4. Selection is based primarily on athletic accomplishments while at The Hun School.  Subsequent achievements in athletics and other areas will also be taken into consideration.
  5. The nominee must have been outstanding in the areas of scholastic achievement, citizenship, integrity, and moral character while at The Hun School.

Nomination Form

The deadline for submitting Athletic Hall of Fame nominations is November 15th of each academic year. The Selection Committee meets during the academic year and consists of the headmaster, the director and assistant director of athletics, the assistant headmaster for advancement, the director of alumni relations, former athletic directors, and the president of the Alumni Association. The Committee will also have balanced representation of Hun School coaches and alumni.
