For Adam Epstein ’95, becoming a father deepened his appreciation for his Hun School education and the foundation it provided during his formative years.
Mr. Epstein remarks, “Hun is a small school. To be successful, each of us had to develop empathy, learn to negotiate and compromise, and set high standards and live by them. There was no hiding in a crowd; playing tennis at Hun reinforced this emphasis on exchanging with others. This
has been a huge help to me, both personally and professionally, and it is something I will look for in a school for my own children.”
After graduating from Hun, Mr. Epstein attended Bucknell University and now serves as Managing Director of Wealth Management at UBS in New York City. Mr. Epstein credits his relationships with Hun faculty and staff, together with the benefits of a close-knit community, for having a profound influence on his professional life.
“Hun had an amazing impact on my life; I loved Hun and feel it gave me so much,” Mr. Epstein says. “Warmth, intimacy, acceptance, and a set
of humane standards make Hun stand out among schools, not only in this area, but as a model of solid secondary education anywhere.”
The Hun School of Princeton is an independent, coeducational, private day and boarding college preparatory school. Student-centered, hands-on learning prepares students for the global community in which they will live and work.
