Hun School’s Erika Lee Wins Eight Scholastic Art Awards, including Three 1st Place Awards
Six Hun School of Princeton student-artists have won prestigious Scholastic Art Awards.
Erika Lee ’20 won eight awards in the Northeast regional contest, including three Gold Key awards, four Silver Keys, and one honorable mention. Erika submitted a variety of pieces that included prints, drawings, and mixed media. Gold Award winners advance to Scholastic’s national contest, which includes scholarships of as much as $10,000.
Hun AP Art class teacher Stacy Collingham was pleased with her students’ achievements.
“This is an unusually high number of wins for a single student,” noted Ms. Collingham of Erika’s awards. “She’s very talented, and was really smart about submitting pieces in different categories. Also great are that Khushi (Agrawal) and Vicky (Zhu) are relatively new to photography instruction (both completed Photo 1 courses last semester.)"
