Westtown squeaks out win against Hun

The Hun School dropped to record of 1-2 with a 42-50 loss at The Westtown School on Saturday night. The Raiders trailed early but went on an 8-4 run to cut Westtown’s lead to three points at the end of the first quarter. Each team tallied sixteen points in the second frame keeping the Red and Black in the hunt at the half. Westtown pushed the tempo in the second half scoring the last seven points of the third quarter and opening up the final quarter with a three pointer. The Raiders responded with a 9-0 run which included four Andrew Seager ’19 points, a Max Adelman ’20 bucket, and a three from Liam Gunnarson ’20. With :45 seconds remaining, Hun trailed 43-48 but were unable to convert two technical foul free throws in the time remaining. The Hun School will host St. Benedict’s Prep at home on Wednesday, December 5that 5:30 p.m. The Hun School Stat Leaders: • Andrew Seager ’19: 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists • Max Adelman ’20: 8 points and 3 rebounds • Liam Gunnarson ’20: 6 points and 3 rebounds
