The Hun School saw their first MAPL win of the season slip though their grasp as The Lawrenceville School scored three unanswered goals in the 4th quarter on Saturday afternoon.
The usual dogfight saw the Raiders end the first half with a 5-4 lead over Lawrenceville. Highlighted by two Grant Hansen ’20 goals and an exciting drive to score from sophomore goalie Gabe Craven ’20 in the second quarter.
Devon Cowan ’19 emerged for The Hun School in the third quarter with three goals as Jake Keller ’18 netted one of his own to give the Raiders a 9-7 lead heading into the final frame. The tide would turn, however, as the Big Red held The Hun School scoreless while mounting a three-goal comeback.
The Raiders will look to rebound on Thursday, April 12th as they travel to The Academy of the New Church for a 4:00 p.m. outing.
