Learning Lab

MS Student Working

The Middle School Learning Lab is part homework haven, part study squad, and part afternoon recharge spot.

Designed to help students build strong study habits and grow in confidence, the Learning Lab offers a calm, supportive space where students can tackle assignments, stay organized, and get a little extra help when they need it. Bonus: it’s staffed by an academic learning skills specialist who’s always ready with guidance, encouragement, and strategies for success.

After the final period of sports and extracurriculars, Middle School students can head to the Learning Lab from 3:15 to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Open to all Middle School students and included in tuition, the program is flexible — students can stop by for help with a specific project, work quietly on homework, or meet with Upper School peer tutors for extra support.

And because no productive afternoon happens on an empty stomach, there are always snacks nearby.

Beyond homework help, Learning Lab teachers partner with students, parents, and faculty to strengthen skills like organization, time management, planning, and self-advocacy — helping students build habits that support success far beyond Middle School.
