Each year during Alumni Weekend, The Hun School of Princeton honors alums, friends, and faculty who go above and beyond in their lives and in support of the School. There is no better representation of a Hun School education than the success and generosity of our alums.

This is the highest honor The Hun School can bestow upon its graduates. The personal and professional achievements of these individuals personify the principles and ideals of The Hun School.

distinguished alums

This honor is presented to an alum who has brought distinction to The Hun School through professional and community achievement.

honorary alum award

The Class of 1914 distinction was established to recognize outstanding members of the faculty, staff, and administration who, though not graduates of The Hun School of Princeton, exemplify the ideals of achievement and service in their association with the School.

young alum award

The Young Alum Award is awarded to a member of the School’s young alum community whose post-graduation achievements exemplify excellence, distinction, and outstanding service in professional, academic, or community settings.

The Hun School of Princeton Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes scholar-athletes and coaches whose athletic contributions are exemplary and have brought honor and distinction to The Hun School. Members of the Athletic Hall of Fame are listed in the lobby of the Grant M. Shipley ’42 Pavilion.

ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME NOMINATION

Required

The deadline for submitting Athletic Hall of Fame nominations is July 31st of each academic year. The Selection Committee meets during the academic year and consists of the headmaster, the director and assistant director of athletics, the assistant headmaster for advancement, the director of alumni relations, former athletic directors, and the president of the Alumni Association. The Committee will also have balanced representation of Hun School coaches and alumni.
