Carpooling and Transportation

If you are interested in carpooling with other Hun families, contact Carly LaManna in the Admission Office. If you are interested in contracting with a shuttle service, see more information.

New Jersey day students who have not already done so must complete the attached 2023 - 2024 B6T form and return it to Adrienne Marchioni. Depending on the number of students commuting to your area, this could lead to bussing or travel reimbursement in lieu of bussing. See more information about the B6T form.

SWIM TEST

Many Hun School excursions include water activities or access to pools and oceans. In order to provide full and robust educational experiences in a safe and accessible way, we need to know who can and cannot swim unassisted. Therefore, all Hun students who wish to participate in these activities, must complete a basic swim test or provide proof of proficiency. Students need only complete one swim test for the duration of their time at Hun. The Athletic Department will organize a limited number of swim test opportunities during the school year; boarding students will have priority placement.

THE HUN WAY

Middle School students begin the academic year in a multi-day orientation program designed to help students grow and develop personally and socially, as well as academically. The Hun Way offers individual and community foundations in team-building, positive psychology, self-awareness, and cultural competency through a series of engaging activities and discussions. Some activities are grade-level, while others are conducted in advisory.  The program runs Friday, September 8th - Friday, September 15th.
