Guardian Form 2024-25

Required

2024-25 International Student Guardian Form

All boarders are required to have a parent or designated guardian available at all times during the academic school year, including holidays and breaks. International parents must designate a local adult guardian, based in the United States, who can act on their behalf to fulfill parental responsibilities designated by the Handbook, and assume full custody of and responsibility for their student during times the school deems it necessary.

Parents or designated guardians must take custody of their students during breaks when the school is closed, including fall, winter, and spring breaks, and anytime the student is required to leave campus. Students may be asked to leave campus, or parents or guardians may need to take custody of students, due to, including but not limited to, extended illnesses or injuries, hospitalization, follow-up medical care, pending disciplinary action, or any time the school deems it unsafe for a student to remain on campus.

If a parent or guardian is not able to take custody of their student within a few hours of the schools request, the parent is solely responsible for designating another trusted adult to assume guardianship of their student until they arrive.  The school in its sole discretion has the right to refuse to release a student into the custody of anyone it feels will not be able to assume full responsibility for the student, or if the opinion of the school it may result in the student being placed in an unsafe situation.
