The Hun School experience is fundamentally about people and programs. However, dormitory life has long been a source of unity and school pride, much like graduation year. Each dormitory is a smaller communal entity in which students find unique traditions and a sense of belonging.

Wilf Family Global Commons

The Wilf Family Global Commons opened in December 2014 and is the central hub of student life on campus.  Home to fifty-six students and four faculty families, the 30,000 square foot building’s location and amenities make it an ideal setting for student and faculty interaction. The residential space is divided into four halls, three for boys and one for girls.  In support of global education and experiential learning, the Global Commons also includes two high-tech classrooms, four common rooms, the Breen Campus Center, and the PA Cafe.

Carter Dormitory

Carter Dormitory is home to sixty-one girls, freshman through seniors, and four faculty families. They bond quickly with a spirit of support as a hallmark. In Carter, there is always an older girl or faculty member willing to talk or offer encouragement. The girls spend their time baking in faculty apartments, hanging out watching movies and television in the lounge, or playing with faculty children. On the weekends the girls play sports, enjoy trips into town for lunch or shopping, and make s'mores on the Mall. There is always a reason to celebrate in Carter, from birthdays to holidays, to meaningful community service initiatives.

Poe Dormitory

Poe Dormitory is home to sixty boys, representing all four grades, and four faculty families.  It's a lively place where boys constantly come and go between classes, practices, and time in town. In Poe, students are from all over the world, but food is the universal language. Most weekend afternoons the wings are piled high, the game is on, and the boys settle in for an afternoon in the lounge. They may also choose to join an off campus trip to enjoy bowling, go-carting, or a game of paintball.
The Hun School of Princeton is an independent, coeducational, private day and boarding college preparatory school.  Student-centered, hands-on learning prepares students for the global community in which they will live and work.
