Just one mile from the historic and intellectual hub of Princeton, The Hun School offers an inspiring place to live and learn. From the iconic views along the Mall to the natural beauty of Stony Brook Creek just beyond our athletic fields, our campus is an ideal setting for daily life and learning. Our boarding community is made up of students from nineteen countries and twenty-three states, creating a vibrant residential experience shaped by diverse perspectives and belonging. Here, students experience the best of a close-knit community with access to the cultural, academic, and social opportunities of one of the country’s most dynamic college towns.

1992 Hall

1992 Hall offers a modern residential experience designed to feel like a small village within campus. This three-story, 41,000-square-foot residence is organized into interconnected in-hall houses and is home to 114 students and twelve faculty families. 1992 Hall is intentionally designed to foster connection, mentorship, and a strong sense of belonging. Bright, spacious dorm rooms, thoughtfully designed lounges and kitchenettes, and three outdoor courtyards provide students with a variety of spaces to study, relax, and spend time together.

Thoughtfully designed gathering spaces, including the lobby patio and various courtyards, allow daily interactions and community-building. With faculty living alongside students, 1992 Hall reflects the strength of Hun’s boarding program: a community within a community, where relationships are built, perspectives are shared, and learning continues well beyond the classroom.

Wilf Family Global Commons

Designed as the center of campus life at Hun, the Wilf Family Global Commons brings together residential living and global learning into one dynamic, state-of-the-art environment. Home to four residence hall wings and four faculty apartments, Global Commons creates a shared living experience where students build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors each day.

Global Commons is a space where students gather to learn from one another, engage in meaningful conversations, and experience the full vibrancy of Hun’s global community. Global Commons is home to all Cultural Competency programming, including cultural celebrations, What’s Happening Wednesday, and International Week events, allowing every student the opportunity to participate, connect, and grow within a shared community. 

With classrooms, gathering spaces, and the PA Café — open daily to both day and boarding students — the Global Commons seamlessly connects academic life with residential life.
