Dining

The Dining Hall at The Hun School is kind of like your own kitchen; sure, you’ll eat here, but you also may grab some hot chocolate between classes, meet with your advisor to discuss your college essay over bagels, or find a quiet corner in which to finish an assignment for class.

Meals are made with in-season, locally-sourced ingredients, whenever possible. (And, even some ingredients that are grown in our own garden.) In addition to several hot selections, there is always a salad bar with a robust selection, a gluten-free station, homemade soups, and all the fixings for your favorite deli sandwich. The Dining Hall is also home to one of the School’s most-loved items: the soft serve machine.

Besides food, The Hun School Dining Hall offers nutritional guidance, specialty menus for holidays and events, and staff who embrace the value of breaking bread in a interconnected community.

PA Café

In addition to the Dining Hall, students may choose to eat at The PA Café, located in the Wilf Family Global Commons. The cafe offers prepared items like flat bread pizza, wraps, and salads. But they also have an enormous selection of drinks, fruit, snacks, and desserts. Students may use spending money or their student accounts to purchase items. Hours vary.

Many of the weekend activities include lunch or dinner off campus. These excursions are available at no cost to boarding school students. Popular off-campus dining destinations include Hoagie Haven, Kung Fu Tea, Halo Pub Ice Cream, and Wawa.
