It’s the promise on which John Gale Hun founded his tutoring school more than a century ago, and one that lives on vibrantly in our warm community of connections.

We believe in balance. We know that within each student is a scholar, an athlete, an artist, an activist, an entrepreneur, and so much more. We intentionally give students the space — and support — to nurture these myriad talents and interests in our programs. At Hun, you will have all of the encouragement and tools needed to pursue your passions with purpose, stretch beyond your comfort zone, and grow with confidence in every direction that calls you.

We believe character counts. We know Hun’s indelible sense of community is built on a bedrock of kindness, empathy, and honor. Our vibrant cultural programming celebrates the many identities that make up our diverse community and allows students to bring their full selves to campus. Hun Raiders cheer for each other and support each other in every endeavor.

And fundamentally, we believe in every Hun Raider’s promise and potential to change the world. We know they can, because for more than 110 years, Hun alums have done just that.
