Retirement: Sherry Roberts
Sherry Roberts has been an inimitable member of the Hun community for more than twenty-three years. She has been the executive assistant to three heads of school, supported seven board chairpersons and nearly one hundred trustees, and ensured that 3,330 Hun students received all the necessary attention, recognition, and support they deserved. Her attention to detail, whether for scheduling events and celebrations or for remembering specifics about people’s families, is extraordinary. In true Mrs. Roberts’ style, she balances the dichotomous nature of being efficient and no-nonsense, while also being thoughtful, compassionate, kind, and loyal. For those reasons, she received a Kay Kiefer Community Award as an unsung hero in the Hun community last month.

A two-time Meritorious Service Award recipient, Mrs. Roberts is looking forward to joining her husband, Jeff, in retirement, and having the time to learn to play the piano and build a website to display Jeff’s acrylic paintings. She will miss the people at Hun, as well as the many animals who stop to greet her on their daily walks.
