Sanah S. ’27: A Class President with a Penchant for Event Planning

Sanah S. ’27 joined the Hun Middle School as a reserved and timid seventh grader; she enters the Upper School as an ambitious ninth grade student who is eager to use her voice to help make the School a better place for her classmates and future Hun students.

This past year, Sanah served as the Middle School’s student body president. During her time, she ran weekly meetings to plan community engagement events and work through logistics of all-School events. Some of her favorite activities from the year include movie night, a casual start-of-school party, semi-formal, and field day.

“I love being a part of a community but even more, I like having a hand in making the community a better place for everyone,” Sanah said. “When I first came to Hun I noticed how student government members were always talking to other students and helping with things around the Buck building and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.”

Along with student government, Sanah also is an active participant in the community service club, the tennis team, and lacrosse – all of which she plans to continue in the Upper School; she even has plans to start a competitive volleyball club.

Sanah plans to leave no stone left unturned during the next four years in the Upper School. She is eager to join clubs like Masala, play competitive sports, explore student government, and participate in NextTerm.
