Celebrations

Alfredo and Olga Navarro have been proud members of the School’s Facilities Department for a combined sixteen years. Over the years, Mrs. Navarro has been responsible for custodial work in both the Chesebro Academic Building and Wilf Family Global Commons while Mr. Navarro has worked in the Athletic Center as a custodian and equipment manager. The couple also spent a majority of their tenure as residents of The Hun School, forming everlasting bonds with students and faculty alike. Mr. and Mrs. Navarro describe their time at Hun as a life-changing experience in more ways than one; in particular being a part of a community like this is something they never imagined. After the academic year, Mr. and Mrs. Navarro have plans to move to Costa Rica to relax, reconnect with family, and work on their family’s coffee plantation.
