Whether it’s non-competitive cheerleading behind Russell Hall or novice strength and conditioning on the James M. Byer ’62 Amphitheatre, Hun students are getting outside and getting active this fall season.
With the commencement of the 107th year underway, the School’s Athletic Department launched a robust intramural program open to all students. The wide variety of extracurricular activities offers students the chance to try something new at the non-competitive level as well as earn points towards their extracurricular requirement. Students are only expected to attend their intramural sport on the day that their respective academic team is on campus.
Intramurals take place daily from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m for Upper School students and 2:00 - 3:00 p.m for Middle School students.
The full intramural program includes advanced strength and conditioning, novice strength and conditioning, ultimate frisbee, walking/hiking, sand volleyball, Wiffle Ball, kickball, yoga and meditation, co-ed tennis, and non-competitive cheerleading.
