Our founder, Dr. John Gale Hun, built the School more than a century ago on the premise that learning is a highly personal process, best nurtured in close individual relationships between teacher and student. That powerful tradition lives on every day — in our small classes, through exceptional teachers who know their students well, and in students who value meaningful connections with skilled and caring adults.

The Hun School is a vibrant, twenty-four hour, culturally diverse campus set within one of the most academically minded communities in the world. But when visitors come to campus, they want to know what it feels like to work and live among us. Spend a day on our campus and you’ll sense it immediately — the genuine and joyful camaraderie amongst students and adults. You will appreciate the architectural and natural beauty of our forty-five acres, nestled in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Princeton University.
