During its summer session, The Hun School welcomes students from Princeton, surrounding communities, and from around the world. To meet the diverse needs of our summer population, we offer several programs. They include a children’s day camp, an academic session, an E.S.L. program, and two sports camps: boys’ baseball and boys’ basketball.

Students may live on campus for the Academic Session and for The American Culture and Language Institute. Students must be age 13 to be considered for the resident program.
Day Camp
For boys and girls ages 5 to 12, the camp provides a variety of games,
activities, sports, swimming instruction, and more, based at our athletic
complex. Campers benefit from experienced adult counselors, spirited junior
counselors, and a nurturing community environment where campers choose
their own group activities. Program

Academic Session
Small group instruction, traditional grading standards, and individual
attention are hallmarks of the academic session. Written reports are sent
home throughout the five weeks keeping families apprised of student progress.
A variety of credit and enrichment courses are available. Courses begin
for students entering sixth grade. Program

American Culture and Language Institute
Balancing academic study and cultural enrichment, this program is designed
for international students wishing to improve their English skills
while enjoying American culture. A program on the college application
process is provided with a visit to Princeton University. Princeton
area students may also apply as day students. Program

Baseball Camp
Returning after a successful first year is the Raider Baseball Camp. Boys,
ages 8 to 15, will receive quality instruction in all aspects of the game:
hitting, base-running, sliding, catching, pitching, and conditioning.
Bill McQuade, Hun School varsity baseball coach, returns as camp director
along with a talented staff of alumni and current students. Program

Basketball Camp
The boys’ basketball camp, directed by Hun School boys’ varsity
coach Jonathan Stone, provides the quality instruction and attention that
young basketball players need. Fundamentals will be emphasized during
skill sessions and afternoon games. All levels of ability are welcome.
