Raider Houses

In September, every new student is assigned to one of the four Raider Houses, a tradition at The Hun School where camaraderie meets competition. Throughout the year, students participate in a variety of point-earning challenges in the quest for the Hun Cup. Hun School students will not only remain a part of their assigned house for life, but siblings and children who enroll at The Hun School will join them.

Shield House

Named after The Hun School’s original logo, Shield House represents the strength of our School values and our commitment to the quest for knowledge and honor. The Shield House logo is a bold black and white striped design borrowed from the stripes in the School’s primary logo.

Gale House

Named in honor of Dr. Hun, Gale House represents the creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and kindness of our founder. The Gale House logo is gold and includes the School’s very first teaching table, a 100-year-old antique that can still be found in Russell Hall.

Quill House

Named for the quill pen within The Hun School shield, Quill House represents the integrity of our academic mission and the continued trust we place in the power of education. The Quill House logo bears a bright red-feathered quill and book.

Edger House

Named for Russell Hall’s original estate title, Edger House represents history, tradition, and respect for the lasting character of The Hun School. The Edger House logo is silver and features a graphic of Russell Hall.
The Hun School of Princeton is an independent, coeducational, private day and boarding college preparatory school.  Student-centered, hands-on learning prepares students for the global community in which they will live and work.
