Parents’ Association Golf and Tennis Outing a Success

Eighty golfers, fifteen tennis players, and four bocce rollers participated in the Annual Jim Byer ’62 Invitational Golf and Tennis Outing, held at Cherry Valley Country Club on Monday, May 13th. The events of the warm spring afternoon transitioned seamlessly to a beautiful evening reception and awards banquet, which brought together over one hundred members of The Hun School community. There, Event Chair Lex Kochmann emceed the event and distributed awards from the afternoon activities.

Brandon Coleman ’13 Honored at Cherish the Children Awards Dinner

Hun School senior Brandon Coleman ’13 was recognized on Sunday, April 28th by the Mercer County Commission on Abused, Neglected, and the Missing Children and Cherish the Children Foundation for his volunteer work with HiTOPs. Brandon has facilitated over 200 hours of workshops that encourage youth to live healthy, responsible, and empowered lives. As a facilitator, Brandon helps youth to explore issues such as morality, prejudice, and sexuality particularly as it pertains to individuals who self-identify as lesbian, bi-sexual, gay, or transgender.

The Hun School Community Celebrates Founders Fest

Students and faculty gathered together on Saturday, May 4th to celebrate The Hun School's strong community spirit at the annual Founders Fest. Founders Fest is a day when kids get to be kids, enjoying the company of their peers and teachers, while playing games, enjoying rides, and eating great food! Organized by the Student Government, Founders Fest was established in 2005 in honor of The Hun School's founder Dr. Hun and the faculty and administrators who have carried his legacy over the years.
